Dear University Faculty and Staff,

I’m excited to share some good news about the ongoing effort to modernize the way we work each day.

In response to the request for proposals (RFP) for new finance, payroll, and human resources software, two vendors, Oracle and Workday, have been invited to the WSU Pullman campus to give on-site software demonstrations to the WSU community. The demonstrations will help us evaluate which software can best meet the needs of the University.

Replacing WSU’s 40-year-old financial system

Dear colleagues,

Nearly four decades ago the University community came together with a bold vision: invest in a mainframe computing system to help pay employees, track expenditures, and help support WSU’s growth. Since the 1980s, we have grown from one campus to five serving Washingtonians around the state and our Global Campus serving learners around the world.
